V. For our absent brothers and sisters; O Lord, grant our brothers and sisters afar your fatherly protection.

V. For the internal and external growth of our Order; O God, who when the world was growing cold, called Blessed Francis to enkindle the fire of your love in the hearts of men, increase in us the warmth of your Holy Spirit.

Antiphon
V. If you, O Lord, will mark iniquities, Lord, who shall stand it?
Psalm 129
All. Out of the depths I cry unto you, O Lord, * Lord hear my voice.
V. Let your ears become attentive * to the voice of my supplication.
All. If you, O Lord, keep the memory of the offenses, * Lord, who shall stand it?
V. But with you there is forgiveness of sins, * so that you are served with reverential fear.
All. I hope in the Lord. * My soul hopes in his word.
V. My soul longs for the Lord, * more than watchmen for the dawn.
All. More than watchmen for the dawn, * Israel longs for the Lord,
V. Because with the Lord there is mercy, * and with him plentiful redemption.
All. And he shall redeem Israel from all her iniquities.
V. Eternal rest give to them, O Lord.
All. And let perpetual light shine upon them.
Antiphon
V. If you, O Lord, will mark iniquities, Lord, who shall stand it? From the gates of Hell,
All. Deliver their souls, O Lord.
V. O Lord, hear my prayer,
All. And let my cry come unto you.
V. The Lord be with you,
All. And with your spirit.
V. Let us pray:
All. O God, the giver of pardon * and lover of human salvation, we beseech your clemency to grant * that the brethren, relations, and benefactors of our fraternity * who have passed from this world, * may, by the intercession of the blessed Mary ever Virgin and of all your saints, * attain to the fellowship of eternal beatitude.
O God, the creator and redeemer of all the faithful, *grant to the souls of your servants departed * the remission of all their sins, * that through pious supplications they may obtain the pardon they have always desired. * Who live and reign world without end. Amen.
V. Eternal rest give to them, O Lord.
All. And let perpetual light shine upon them.
V. May they rest in peace.
All. Amen
